Generally in a combination of software including Bryce 5, Irfanview, Universe Image Creator, Paint.Net and the sprite editing system in Game Maker 4.

Thanks man, yeah, it did take quite some time. It's a new thing for me to have the patience it takes to work in this way. But it really pays off in the end I think :)
